Amounts, currency and minor units
The account sets the currency
The account declares its currency (ISO: COP, USD, CLP…). Operations, devices, products and
profiles inherit it; they never pick one. It is immutable: it cannot be changed after the account
is created.
Consequences:
- A product can only be used on devices and profiles of its account.
- Moving a device to another account adjusts its currency and empties the planogram.
- A report mixing currencies warns: Some transactions use different currencies; the total shown uses the predominant currency.
Minor units
Amounts are written and stored in whole minor units:

Forms asking for money (product cost and prices, top-up value, max balance, a code's initial balance) show the hint Value in minor units. Never type thousand separators or decimal commas.
Cost, price and profit

For cashless vending the device reports the price, not the planogram: hence the slot hint The price is set by the device; it cannot be edited here.
